SCHOOL BASED PROVISIONS

Otters and Kestrels

Otter and Kestrel classes are specialist provisions, established by the school to support students with complex needs (particularly learning / ASD / communication difficulties).

Both classes have a highly structured, nurturing environment, where children benefit from smaller class sizes and a high ratio of adults.

The bespoke curriculum is developed to meet the specific needs of the children within the group.

Local Authority Based Provision

The Redwood Unit

Squirrels and Foxes

In the Summer of 2023, we opened a local authority provision at Cutenhoe Hill Primary School, for children with complex learning needs. The unit caters for children with levels well below expected levels (at least half their chronological age).

All children in the provision must have an EHCP issued by the local authority.
