Every Tuesday morning for both Poppy Class and Tulip Class
Children will be practising for sports day, which will be either Tuesday 9th June or Tuesday 16th June (weather dependant).
ELG: Gross Motor Skills
Children at the expected level of development will:
- Negotiate space and obstacles safely, with consideration for themselves and others;
- Demonstrate strength, balance and coordination when playing;
- Move energetically, such as running, jumping, dancing, hopping, skipping and climbing..
Homework
Listen to your child read at least 3 times per week and log their reading on boom readers.
Practice phonics at home – look at class dojo for weekly updates.
Practice counting verbally with your child – numbers beyond 20
Practice numbots – to help with number skills.
