By law, all children must receive a full-time education. As a parent/carer, you are responsible for making sure that your child attends school regularly and on time.
All children are expected to attend school for the full 190 days per year.
Good attendance means being in school at least 97% of the time (between 184 & 190 days)
If you arrive after 8.55am please report to the school office. Your child will be marked ‘late’ in the register.
Your child might not achieve a 100% attendance award.
If you arrive very late in the morning please report to the school office. Your child will be marked ‘unauthorised absence’ in the register. Very late children are monitored by the Luton Borough Council Education Welfare Service (LBC EWO). Your child might not achieve a 100% attendance award.
Please make sure we have your correct contact numbers!
What if your child is ill or injured during school? How would we get hold of you?
Please collect your child at 3.30pm
Collecting children from school
If someone different is collecting your child, and the teacher does not already know this person, staff will ask for a password as a way of being able to identify them. Please make sure they are aware of your password, otherwise your child will not be released without further investigation.
