We will be writing our own emails for a story, followed by letters.

We will be reading ‘The Dragonsitter’.

In maths the children will be learning more about place value, where they will be comparing and ordering numbers up to 1,000 and counting in 50s.

With addition and subtraction, they will be learning the complements to 100, estimating answers using the skills of inverse operations. They will also be doing more work on multiplication and division.  Here they will be multiplying and dividing 2-digit numbers with 1-digit numbers, broadening their understanding of exchanging and using remainders.
